Hadimba Temple
Hadimba Temple:
Hidimbi Devi Temple is known as Hadimba Di Temple is located just 1 ½ kilometer from Mall road of Manali. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi , sister of Hadimba , who was a character of epic Mahabharatra. The temple is surrounded by a cedar forest at the foot of the Himalayas. The sanctuary is built over a huge rock out of the ground, which was worshiped an an image of the deity. The temple was built in 1553.

Mall Road:
Mall road is central point of Manali & it is the main market for tourist & local as well. Lot of restaurants & souvenirs shops are located on the Mall road. You see a temple witj fine art of wood on the Mall road & you can taste some snacks on the Mall road.

Vashisht temple
Vashisht Temple:
Vashisht is a small village located on the left bank of river Beas towards Rohtang pass. This small village is worth seeing & this village has a temple & hot spring. During peak season this village is very crowded by tourists. Nearby is the pyramidal stone temple dedicated to Vashisht muni.  There is another temple of Lord Rama here.

Old Manali:
Old Manali is situated near Manalsu River that culminates in the main Beas River. Old Manali is the home for Temple Manu. Across the Manalsu river is the original village of Manali, that houses the ancient temple of the sage Manu.

Solang Valley:
Solang valley offers view of snow capped mountains & peaks. It has fine ski slopes. The mountaineering institute has installed a ski left for training purpose. Winter ski festival is organized here. This place is also popular with Paragliding & balloon rolling along with horse safari.

Rohtang Pass:
Rohtang pass is 55 kilometer from Manali at a height of 3980 Meter & is crucial gateway between Kullu-Manali & Lahaul & Spiit valley. This pass is open from June to November & remains closed in winter due to heavily snow. Rohtang pass provides spectacular view of the Himalayas & snow capped mountains.

Manikaran at a height 1700 meter is 85 kilometer away from Manali. Manikaran is famous for its hot spring. Thousands of people take a holy dip in the hot water. The hot water is so hot that rice, dal & other vegetables are cooked into this water. Manikaran is also well known pilgrimage place for both Hindu & Sikhs. Parvati river flows besides temples of Lord Shiva & Gurudwara.

If you are a nature love & like secluded places then this is the place for you. It is an amazing place to visit. Jana waterfalls are just 30 Kilometer from Manali towards Nagar fort. The road towards Jana waterfalls is breathtaking scenic beauty. Jana waterfalls give you an opportunity to take some amazing photos of the nature. You can walk some height of the water falls.

Nagar Fort:
Nagar fort is situated in the Nagar village on the height. You can have amazing view of the surroundings from the Nagar castle. There is very good restaurant run by tourism department where you can have tea & some tasty snacks looking at good view of the mountains. Many Bollywood movies have been shot here like “Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Jaal the Trap, Jab we Met”. So that place is worth to visit.
